The Words of a Calvary Student
God's Word has changed my life in many ways.Program
As it says in Matthew 18:12-14 (NIV): “What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.”
This pretty well sums up why Calvary Academy-Florida exists: to bring back the lost sheep to our Father in heaven. In addition to our Christ-centered academics, we provide our students with a behavioral program that emphasizes highly structured Christian character training and progressive discipline with natural and logical consequences. Our Christian counseling includes both individual and group counseling for our students as well as an emphasis on each child staying connected with their parents/guardians through letters and phone calls (and visits when distance allows).
Our Affiliation:
Calvary Academy-Florida is a private, not-for-profit organization affiliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. We acknowledge and accept the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as the revealed and inerrant word of God, verbally inspired, and submit to them as the only infallible authority in all matters of faith and life.Thoughts from Students:
